Smash Up 1 is the first of four Smash Ups in Cars: Race-O-Rama.

Mater is chasing his hook affront the Rustbucket Stadium when Bubba and the two Taters appear, vowing revenge with an agreement they had long ago to race in the Rustbucket for the Towing rights of Radiator Springs.
Track[]
The track is simply a few turns around the Rustbucket, with no notable obstacles other than the litter the game tells you are obstacles, but are actually not.
Trivia[]
- This is Cletus' only appearance in Cars: Race-O-Rama.
- That also means that this is the only Smash Up race where Tater Jr. does not appear.
- As events in the PS2 version of the game have just four racers, only Tommy Joe, Cletus, and Zeke show up, despite having no actual purpose towards the story.
- Although Sarge is one of the very fastest cars in this race, he is the slowest car in every other Smash Up.
- Guido Kart 2 uses the same track as this race.
- There was formerly a rumor that if you reset this race a fair number of times in progression without exiting the event, either Judd or Buford would replace one of the other opponents. Of course, this was indeed a hoax.
